TNJ Heads to Tol Plantation

An untold story of a son who revisited his fathers final resting place. Phillip Street’s father was an expat based in Rabaul pre-war and a member of the NGVR. Along with 150 other Australians, he was captured and executed by the Japanese at Tol Plantation.
Phillip and his son James were on a journey of discovery retracing distant memories which brought us down to Tol to revisit their fathers / grandfathers final resting place. It was an emotional journey for Phillip as he had not been back to Rabaul for approx 70 years.
